MILEAGE SUBMISSIONS REDUCED BY 40% SINCE TRANSPORTATION COMPANY APL PARTNERED WITH MOTUS One of the world's leading ocean carriers, APL Limited provides container transportation through an international shipping network. They provide shipping services across the world's major trade lanes including the shipment of refrigerated, oversized and hazardous cargo. David Sebesta, Manager of Strategic Sourcing at APL, is responsible for negotiating contracts and partnerships for the company. Aer their acquisition by CMA CGM, David was tasked with vetting a mileage reimbursement solution for their team of regionally-based sales reps. Aer evaluating the Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) reimbursement options in the market, David discovered the value of partnering with Motus. Challenges they faced APL was previously offering their sales reps company-provided vehicles through a fleet program. After their acquisition, they needed to reduce liability and eliminate their fleet vehicles.
