FUEL PRICE OUTLOOK Taking all these factors into account, we expect the na onal average fuel price to fall between $2.90 - $3.15 for Q3. We expect prices to peak in June and unwind over July and August. Price movement will depend heavily on whether OPEC+ countries agree to increase produc on when they meet at the end of June and how quickly they execute. Unexpected supply disrup ons in unstable areas could also affect these predic ons. It can be difficult to predict the cost of fuel when so many factors can affect prices. As Americans head towards record levels of fuel consump on, it is more important that ever to account for the true cost of fuel and other driving expenses when you have employees that drive for work. METHODOLOGY Real- me daily fuel costs are captured via credit card swipes, direct feeds, and other survey methods from over 100,000 fueling points across the United States for self-service regular grade gasoline. Fuel pricing captures all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. This data is then compiled to produce the monthly fuel average for specific driving territories based on the most populous ci es across all 50 states and the District of Colombia. Vehicle costs are modeled using a composite list of the most common foreign and domes c vehicles and their localized costs across 1,500 areas of the country. Learn how to reimburse your mobile workers fairly and accurately for the rising costs of fuel. 1 Factbox: The knowns and unknowns of U.S. Iran oil sanc on waivers.
