METHODOLOGY
Motus analyzed travel cost data from 60 of the most common des na ons for U.S. domes c
business travel for this study. Airfare costs were calculated using median values for 14-day advance
airfares except as noted below.
Ground transporta on, meal and lodging costs were calculated using these assump ons:
Poli cal conven on airfares were calculated using the average fares from 23 major U.S. ci es to each
conven on loca on with arrival the day before the event and departure the day a er.
2 nights Breakfast, lunch, dinner 1/2 day on arrival, 2 full days,
and 1/2 day on departure day
