The reloca on team appreciated the amount of flexibility available when selec ng from traveling components such as airfare class, hotel type, number of meals covered, to who in the family could join them in home finding for temporary living. The tradi onal reimbursement process was cumbersome. For employees who typically don't travel for work, they appreciated that they no longer had to go through the burdensome process of submi ng receipts for reimbursements. Since reloca on expenses couldn't be submi ed through the regular expense management system and had to be submi ed to an RMC for reimbursement, it wasn't the best use of me to con nually keep track of receipts where there was no benefit to the company, and it was all taxable income. No longer requiring receipts also meant that the company no longer needed to perform audits, producing significant me savings. This was a win for employees, the RMC's, and the company.
